Today I'm super happy to finally bring you...

Yay~!!♥

Although these outfits aren't super recent (I took these photos just before my holiday ; 7 ; ) they feature some of my favourite items~! They're pretty much staples that I can use in so many outfits~!♥

I love pin up style so much~! Though when it comes to 50's fashion, I'm not such a fan of dresses.. so you'll always find me in a playsuit, shorts, capris, or sukapan (mini skirt with shorts inside) instead.♪ These outfits are all pinup inspired~!

Simple pinup inspired outfit♥ I love love love wearing cropped tees & high waisted shorts~!♪ This top is actually one of my favourites because it goes with so many things! Plus it's super cute♥ I remember when I first started wearing J-fashion loads of taobao resellers were selling the fake version of this top (and the cat dress) but I was super happy to find the real one second hand in an auction~!♥
I feel like you could never go wrong with gingham shorts/sukapan and a white top~ or even denim shorts! Sometimes simple coordinates can turn out the cutest! Like this outfit is just a top, shorts and platforms♥

 

Oh hey, I actually have eyebrows ww♪ Just some simple eyeshadow, and then Twiggy inspired drawn on bottom lashes~!♥ Plus lots of v pink lipstick & lipgloss♥ I'm not really one for matte lips.. I prefer gloss ahah.. ; 7 ; Matte doesn't really look right on me? Plus my lips are super dry.

Added a jacket because in the UK it can get slightly chilly even in summer.. >< I'm a big fan of denim jackets~♥ This one has cute frills & a bow on the back!

I've had this puffy top from Bobon21 for a few years & I've worn it as part of so many coords♥ It's another favourite of mine~!♪ Ahh I miss a lot of the old Bobon21 things ahah. This & the first coordinate could be easily switched around as the pieces could mix & match~!♪ Often when I buy clothes I consider what other things in my wardrobe they match.♥

 

Make make♥ Here I drew on the Twiggy style bottom lashes again and drew on longer eyebrows~♥ I also used a stripe of purple & pink eyeshadow to add a little detail inspired by the way drag queens make their eyes look bigger~ Then to finish, a gradient lip!♥

The cat top again yay~!♥ This time in a pink code♥ I love sukajan & denim jackets~! I have a little collection of them, maybe I should do an outfit post with them all as the weather gets cooler~! These shorts are a little big so it doesn't feel quite as pinup style as before, but it's still pretty retro♪

 

For my makeup here I did a winged eyeliner but with brown eyeshadow instead of eyeliner to soften the look♪ I often feel like doing that shape with normal eyeliner looks too heavy on me.. but I feel happy with the softer look~! If I use normal black eyeliner, I like to sweep it downwards♪

I blended the darker brown with a lighter brown towards the inside of my eyelid~

I added a hint of dark pink to blend with the brown in the lower outer corner of my eye too♥ 

Then I added highlighter under my eye to accentuate their puffyness~! (If I have puffy eyes I may as well make them cute-ish, right?)

For my cheeks, I used a peachy blush under my eyes and for my lips, I used a dark pink lipstick & gloss to do a gradient lip look♥

Of course we cant forget lots of shimmery highlighter♥♥

♥Kira Kira Crate June 2017♥ ~Japanese Cosmetics Review~

Heyo everybunny~!♥

How are you~?♪

Today I'm happy to bring you a review for the June Kira Kira crate! 

I've been getting a few subscription boxes for a while but recently I thought it would be fun to review them on my new blog♥

Kira Kira crate is a subscription box by Japan Crate that contains Japanese cosmetics~! Often they contain character themed cosmetic goods too which is fun♥ I'm a sucker for cute cosme but I also have quite sensitive skin, luckily I've found that pretty much all the products I get are nice to my skin.^^ The products I've had in boxes that are skin care related are usually very gentle on skin, which is great~! I'm always impressed with the quality of Japanese and Korean cosmetics even if they're kind of a novelty or made to be cute~!

Here's what's inside the June box♪

The boxes used to be bigger, but they slimmed them down, I think it was so the contents didn't move around! As now everything seems to fit in it just nicely♥

♥Fluffy Milky White Headband♥

Messy freshly dried hair~!! It needs a headband ww (Sorry no make 'cept tinted lip balm..- 7-)

Somewhat tamed~! 

But ofc if I'm going to use a facemask I'll pull all my hair back.. but you don't want to see that haha

I already have a headband like this, but I'm happy I now have a spare while the other is being washed ahah♥ This is actually really really soft, I love it♥

 ♥Magic Lip Tattoo - Orange Colour♥

I think this is the only product in the box that I'm not too sure about? >< It's a lip stain that you apply to your lips and then peel off after it has dried. It's a little inconvenient to peel off and isn't super consistent over the lips, as when I tried it, it was a little patchy. I think I will try it a few more times before I judge it properly, but right now I prefer my Etude House lip stains.^^;

♥Hydrogen Spa Bath Ball♥

I'm more of a shower bun than a bath bun but I had a bath to see what this would be like and it smelled so good~! *^* This bath ball contains magnesium hydroxide and is supposed to be good for all sorts of things like your skin & relaxing muscles.♪  I'm not sure if I'd buy something like this regularly because I prefer showers, and also since I don't even have a bath while I'm at uni ahah ; 7 ; But regardless, it was a nice treat~!

♥Pure Smile Toner♥

This toner is lightly scented, it smells like other toners I've used.^^ It's a nice fresh scent, though nothing super special. It's really nice and gentle, and not oily~! There isn't a whole lot to say about this product specifically, which I don't mean in a bad way at all~! I actually like it a lot. It fits into my skin care routine quite nicely as I use an Atomy toner every other day after washing my face, and after washing my face on the other days I use a slightly more gentle toner.♪ I'll maybe make a post about my full skin care routine another time~!

♥Pure Smile Milky Essence Masks: Vitamin & Royal Jelly♥

I always love getting face masks and trying out new ones♥ I've never tried the milky essence masks before, so I was excited to try them~! Especially since my skin hasn't been very happy lately.><

Royal Jelly: This mask has anti-inflammatory & anti-ageing properties.♪ This mask had a really strong honey scent, it was so nice~! After using the mask, most of the redness on my face (I have quite patchy skin..><) had gone down a lot! My skin felt really soft too.
Vitamin: This mask is good for acne-prone skin.♪ The scent of this mask wasn't quite as strong as the royal jelly mask, but it was still pleasant~! This mask brightened my face and made my skin feel really soft♥ It also helped with redness.^^
Both masks were very hydrating and fit fairly comfortably on my face, though they were a little big haha.^^;

♥Favourite Item This Month~!♥

♥Doraemon x Hello Kitty Lip Cream♥

The packaging for this is so cute! I've been loving recent Sanrio collabs! Sanrio x Yuri on Ice~ Sanrio x Osomatsu san~
But anyway, this lip cream is really nice! The peach scent is really light and sweet. I have really really dry lips and usually I use a strong lip balm. From a moisturising point of view, I'm actually surprised with how good this is. I was expecting it to be just a cute and nicely scented lip cream but it works well as something that will moisturise too~!

If you're looking to buy cosme like these but without subscribing to a service, you could try somewhere online like yesstyle~! There are other stores that I have come across, but yesstyle is the only one I have used before. It was pretty handy for getting products quickly rather than buying from a Japanese brand store, getting it shipped to a shopping service, then getting it shipped internationally.
You could also try looking on Rakuten~! Many of the stores will ship internationally or you could use a shopping service like Tenso! After a quick search in the beauty category, I found brands such as Pure Smile, Sanrio cosme, Canmake, Majolica Majorca, Hada Labo etc..
Please remember if you want to buy cosmetics online to get them from a reputable store~!♪

I finally had the motivation to restart my blog☆
I used to be filled with motivation, but then it fizzled.. now I want to do my best to stay motivated!
Sorry it looks a little empty.. I'm trying to decide whether to add more decorations or keep it simple..^^; But for now I think I'll stick to this.♪

I think to start out, maybe I should introduce myself a little!♥
Maybe on my twitter & instagram I don't say things about me so much, because my outfits are a usually more interesting & easy to talk about~!
But here are a few facts about me →

I'm 156cm tall♪ But often my shoes give me a boost :3c

I'm a small pixie bun living in a small town in the English countryside.♪ But when I'm at uni I live in a small city~

I'm a university student~! I'm studying Japanese & also Korean.

I was born on the cusp of Taurus & Gemini~ and my personality type is INFJ♪

I'm non-binary♥panromantic♥demisexual♥ But usually to keep it short & sweet I'll just refer to myself as queer.♥ Any pronouns are peachy with me~! 

I mostly eat vegetarian & vegan food~! But if I'm somewhere fancy I'll sometimes have seafood.^^

I have a couple chronic illnesses that take a physical toll on me and get in my way of some things, but I try to not let them make me too sad or stop them from doing too many things!!  

I love Disney & Sanrio a lot!♪ I love getting Disney & Sanrio collab clothing from brands like Liz Lisa & Secret Honey♥♥♥

My favourite Disney characters are Duffy & friends, Marie, Alice, and Dumbo.♥ I love the Princesses too~!

My favourite Sanrio characters are MyMelody, Kuromi, and Aggretsuko.♥

I have a tsum tsum collection and a UniBEARsity collection~!

I love snail mail♥ and I seem to collect a lot of cute stationery ahah..

My fashion style.. is never sticking to one style~ ; 7 ; I have lots of clothes in lots of different styles♥ But more about that soon^^;

I love plants~! I've grown up around flowers & fruits & veggies.♥ My family grows a lot of the fruit & veggies we eat.♪

My main fashion styles are Larme, amekaji, himekaji and yumekawaii♥ I wear a lot of cute punkish/grunge clothes too, usually in winter, but I have no idea if kawaii punk or kawaii grunge are a thing haha♪ I also have agejo & lolita clothes, but I don't wear those so often.^^;♥
